Dr. Brayford is a native to Schuylkill County, growing up in Barnesville and attending Mahanoy Area High School.   He and his family currently reside in Orwigsburg.

  He attended Lock Haven University for his undergraduate studies in Health Sciences.  His medical training was completed at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine ( PCOM). 

 After finishing medical school Mark completed his internship / residency and fellowship to become Board Certified in both Family Practice and Sports Medicine thru St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown / Bethlehem PA.

 Prior to joining Dr. Phillips in practice, Mark worked both in private practice and as an employed hospital physician.

 He devotes his practice to both non – operative orthopedics / sports medicine and Primary Care Medicine.  

He manages his very busy primary care patient schedule while continuing to see acute and chronic non operative orthopedic problems.
